Communications MinistryTh Communications Ministry uses technology and media to develop and disseminate program information for members and guests of First Baptist Montgomery. Our goal is to use media to help effectively communicate the truth, to help our church reach people for Christ, and connect in service, for the Glory of God. This ministry is comprised of three areas – Broadcast, Creative and Web. Broadcast MinistryThe CrossRoads Broadcast Ministry helps produce each service in coordination with the Minister of Music and the Pastor. From the front of the house audio, lighting, video production, and image magnification, this ministry uses audio and visual support to enhance each worship services as well as other special events throughout the year. The Media Ministry also produces special video segments, promos and other various items specifically for each service. The television ministry is probably the most visible element of the Broadcast Ministry. To view the television broadcast schedule, click here. Creative Arts MinistryThe Communications Ministry publishes the church newsletter, The Beacon, which is mailed to members weekly; and the Order of Worship. This ministry also works with each ministry to create and produce promotional materials for events and activities.
Web Site MinistryThe Communications Ministry works hard to provide effective communication not only to the First Family, but also to our community. This web site was designed to be a portal of useful, up-to-date information for everyone who visits. It is instrumental in introducing who we are to prospective guest at all times.
